pyChing requires version 1.51 or greater of
Python to be installed on your system,
and version 8.0 or greater of Tcl/Tk.
(Actually, pyChing hasn't been tested with any earlier versions of Python and Tk,
and it may work, so if you're stuck with an earlier version of one or both of these
and want to try it out, let me know how you go [use the -d command line switch],
but probably the safest thing to do is download suitable versions from the Python
and/or Tcl/Tk web sites.)
Python website: www.python.org
Tcl/Tk website: tcl.sourceforge.net
pyChing also requires a color display.
Downloads of pyChing, packaged for different platforms, are available from the pyChing project's sourceforge download page.
apt-get install pychingat the command line. Otherwise, the latest version of pyChing is available as a tarred, gzipped file, from pyChing's sourceforge download page.
Please send any detailed bug reports to me.    ;^)
The Sourceforge pyChing project page also has links to the above packages as well as any earlier versions of pyChing, and some other facilities I hope to have set up one day.
